My Monthly Memories – October 2016

I was invited by Basant to join her in “My Monthly Memories” for 2016.

October 2016 was a very busy month for me, writing a post every day, travelling 70 km’s every day to feeding cows, then marketing them, cleaning the farmhouse, etc but I finally may it to the end of October.

So I wrote Tanka poetry for 31 days for OctPoWriMo, a few other bits, and pieces but NaNoWriMo never really got anywhere as I never had the time to work out how many words I wrote daily, so that mission failed.

Thank you to all my followers, 555, I appreciate you all.

Short and sweet post this month. Blessings to you all, may November be bright and successful with all your writing endeavours.

My Monthly Memories – September 2016

My Monthly Memories – September 2016

I was invited by Basants to join her in “My Monthly Memories” for 2016.

September 2016 has disappeared, don’t know where, but I certainly didn’t catch up with it.

With the farm up for tender, September 15 came, no suitable tender, I think people think you should give a farm away.

No way it has been fifty-six years of hard work to get what we have today, so the farm is still for sale until the end of October, then it came off the market if not sold and we go on working the farm.

Yes, it has been a very stressful month, but I have still made a post every day, mostly Tanka Poetry, which was the Carpe Diem – Jane Reichhold’s Legacy prompts for September.

For twelve weeks, I have now been running my own Weekly Tanka Challenge, progressing slowly.

For the month of October, I will be writing daily tanka poems for OctPoWriMo, as I enjoy it and it will keep me doing daily posts.

I haven’t written much fiction short stories lately, my mind is struggling to cope with writing but I will try to do more, as the NaNoWriMo will help which I’m attempting to write 5000 words for the month.

Thank you to all my followers, 484, Looks like I will have 500 followers very soon. I appreciate you all.

My Monthly Memories – July 2016

My Monthly Memories – July 2016

I was invited by Basants to join her in “My Monthly Memories” for 2016.

Another month has passed by.

I have been dabbling in many forms of writing.

At the moment while still writing every day, I’m trying to do the new  BloggingU – Shaping your Story course, but it is not going very well, will continue to the end with the hope that it will get me writing a novel.

After doing the “Intro to Poetry” Blogging course I’m really enjoy writing poetry especially Haiku and Tanka Poetry.

I have started a Weekly Tanka Challenge, not going very well, but won’t give up on it yet, I think with time it will get more writers giving it a go.

Did a Three quotes a day for three days quote challenge, got a nice response with bloggers I nominated.

Received another Blogging Award “One Loverly Blog Award” very happy to accept it.

Wrote some fiction writing for “Six Sentence Stories” and “Writers Quote Wednesday Writing Quote”.

My Monthly Memories March – April 2016

monthly-memories1

Would you like to join Basants in “My Monthly Memories”

I missed out posting my March Memories, (sad), as from the middle of March I have been busy shifting from the farm into town and didn’t have any internet connection on the farm , needless to stay I had to wait until we went to our house in town to write blogs.

So I will write in this month memories about March also.

Needless to say, even under the hard condition I kept up with my blogging and managed to survive the A to Z challenge and make it to the end.

I missed doing the “Commenting BootCamp March 21 – 25” as that was the week my computer disappeared.

I will try and make up for not commenting (short of time) in April in the coming months.
