wildfire in your blood
like inhaling air
it is survival

it gives feeling
to be human
lets ideas bloom
calms conditions

flowing free
on paper
fingers flee

Diminishing Pentaverse – origin unknown

A pentaverse is a 5-line poem with 5 syllables per line.

Therefore, the Diminishing Pentaverse begins with a stanza having 5 lines of 5 syllables, and decreases down to 1 line of 1 syllable.

Total length: 15 lines

Syllabic structure: 5-5-5-5-5, 4-4-4-4, 3-3-3, 2-2, 1

Unrhymed

The lines don’t have to be lists.
