New Poetry – Spiral Quatrain – Mosaic of Colors

Mosaic of Color

Colors of the earth,
start of day, sunrise gold,
brightly like a marigold.
Sunset, spiritual rebirth

While white, symbol of purity,
guarantees security.
Colorless skein of life
to purple loosestrife.

Many glow then fade,
but we still treasure them.
Brightness of a grand parade,
to the darkness of damson plum.

Some colors have strange behavior,
movements in a gentle breeze,
some hues are left behind,
brings misbehavior.

Purple loosestrife is a marsh herb with a long spike of purple flowers

    • Thanks for asking, I’m not too bad, surviving. My husband isn’t well, it’s very stressful, but I will stay strong with all my wonderful WordPress supporters. I sit at my computer reading and writing, it takes my mind off of some of the problems surrounding me. Have a great day.

    • Thanks for the nice comment, I’m doing my best to stay on top of the health problems in my home. As for the purple loosestrife, I found that word in Rhyme Zone, when clicking that word it said “marsh herb with a long spike of purple flowers; originally of Europe but now rampant in eastern United States” I had never heard of it, so nice to know you have golden ones in your garden. Peace my friend, have a great day.

  1. Hi, I am glad to see that you are still writing poetry. I haven’t been around lately – too busy with other stuff and the new european rules about data etc. So I started all over from zero. Greetings from Germany!
