Corner Gridlock – Reversed Etheree Poem

traffic congestion is a traffic jam
the corner isn’t negotiable
gridlock, traffic is a standstill
how to clear intersection
traffic cannot reverse
blocked intersection
no accident
frayed tempers
horns stuck
blast

What is Reversed Etheree Poetry?

  • Like the Etheree, it is a decastitch (10-line stanza) with an emphasis on the syllabic count of each line.
  • The only difference is that the syllabic count is reversed: 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
  • It is unrhymed.
