  • starts with the word “Time”
  • is repeated at least twice

Measuring Time

Time is a progress of existence
In the past, present, onto the future
Time measured by the hour
24 hour day is 86400 seconds
You may stand still but the seconds
Still keeps turning over every day

Time measured by a sundial
Using a gnomon to cast a shadow
On a set of markings
Calibrated to the hour
The position of the shadow
Marks the hour in local time

Whatever way you measure time
Enjoy every single minute of the day
As the sand in a hourglass flows
Measuring the passage of time
It is the same all around the world
We can not escape time ever
