Carpe Diem Winter Retreat 2017 “Life is Beautiful” – Day 30

The final post for the Carpe Diem Winter Retreat 2017, 30 days of writing haiku and tanka, one a day on a theme.  For this CDHK Retreat Chevrefeuille have chosen the theme “Life is Beautiful”.

A lot of my posts about “life is beautiful” in winter has been quite disturbing about winter, but we have to be serious about winter it is not always beautiful, but us humans have found a way that our body does cope with the bad days and move on living the future.

Thanks, Kristjaan for the 30-day challenge I enjoyed it.

Happy days with the winter month fast approaching in many places in the world.

After all, spring is always just around the corner after winter.

A nice haiku poem to end the winter challenge.

spring is in the air
goodbye to a long winter
sun shining through trees

  1. Yes, Elsie, Spring is in the air; as you’ve written.
The flowers are blooming, the trees are, once again, green; and the days are becoming longer. Of course, this isn’t so for our friends in the north; but, we all have our time!
A great Haiku. Have a lovely day! 🙂

  2. I wholeheartedly agree that “Life is Beautiful,” and with the right garments can be so year round. It’s just going into winter here in Indiana, but still lovely with the last of the colorful leaves falling here and there, and the frost appearing at morning light. The air is crisp and clean, the not so bright light of day perfect for autumn picture taking. Yep! “Life is Beautiful” with the right perspective, and of course the blessing of breath.
