Carpe Diem #1265 perfume

Celebrating Five Years of Carpe Diem Haiku Kai.

Todays Prompt is Perfume

Autumn is one of my favorite seasons, not only for the colorful trees and bushes but also for the perfume of autumn. I like the smell of decaying leaves, the smell of roasted chestnuts … the warm cider in front of the fireplace. It’s all autumn …

    • Yes, Janice, the good old days before the big harvesting machinery arrived, a real family outing on the farm, hard work, but the rewards at the end of the day outnumbered the hard work.
      Happy days.
