Weekly Tanka Prompt Challenge – Week 48 – Shelter & Contentment

Simple Guidelines.

Using the words “shelter & contentment” and write a tanka poem.

English tanka poetry consists of five units, usually with the following pattern of    5-7-5-7-7 which is syllables.

You can use the picture above, your own or no picture at all.

the comforts of life
humans or pets require warmth
accommodation
desire for food and shelter
simple life, contentment comes

    • What part of the world do you live in.
      Here in NZ, it is winter, the last ten days has certainly let us know that winter is here. Winter is one season I could do without, my poor bones are certainly letting me know.
