Weekly Tanka Prompt Challenge – Week 45 – Dreams & Achieved

Simple Guidelines.

Take the words “dreams & achieved” and write a tanka poem.

English tanka poetry consists of five units, usually with the following pattern of    5-7-5-7-7 which is syllables.

You can use the picture above, your own or no picture at all.

dreams can be achieved
maybe carpets will not fly
believe in yourself
take the first steps gracefully
reaching the stars high above
