Weekend Writing Prompt #2 – Unearth

A word and photo prompt to get your creativity flowing this weekend.

If you want to share what you come up with, please leave a link HERE

Thank you, Sammi Cox, for the prompt.

I will write a story like a did a poem last week.

A seven line story will have the first letter of each line spelling the word “unearth” when reading from the beginning to the end.

The theme will tie into the definition of the word.

Unearth

Under most plantation of trees, someone will make a track disturbing the soil so nothing will grow on it.

Never assume it is manmade, for everything animal or human will wear a path that will be there forever.

Everyone will leave a mark whether it’s a footprint or an echo heard by the spirits watching by.

At some point of a long walk, humans will stop a take rest, or relieve there-selves among the trees.

Resting along the way can lead to boredom causing you to unearth the soil around the trees disturbing the roots.

Trees can tell a tale, have consideration for them, they never asked you to stop by, how many years has that tree taken to grow.

Have love for those living trees, mother earth angels watch over those trees, if you destroy the bark, it will leave a mark.
