Write a poem or story using this picture. Link back to the post above from your blog.

Busy Santa

His glasses are nearly falling off his nose
Santa reading his Christmas list
He is going to find out who’s been naughty
And who’s been very nice

Santa reading his Christmas list
Who’s not getting a gift for Christmas
And who’s been very nice
His head is ringing from concentration

Who’s not getting a gift for Christmas
He had better go a feed his reindeer’s
His head is ringing from concentration
Fresh air will clear his aching head

He had better go a feed his reindeer’s
If he wants them to work tonight
Fresh air will clear his aching head
He hopes they have been behaving

If he wants them to work tonight
He is going to find out who’s been naughty
He hopes they have been behaving
His glasses are nearly falling off his nose

Daily Picture Prompt 16 – Weaning Time – Pantoum Poetry

Write a poem or story using this picture. Link back to the link above from your blog.

Weaning Time for Fawns

Standing silent and relaxed
But still not looking happy
Maybe she knows it is going to happen
Animals have a soul also

But still not looking happy
It looks like she has a fawn feeding
Animals have a soul also
Penned in a shed

It looks like she has a fawn feeding
I think that fawn is going to be weaned
Penned in a shed
No one is going to be happy

I think that fawn is going to be weaned
Fawn and mother will be crying
No one is going to be happy
Farmer will be unhappy too but it has to be done

Fawn and mother will be crying
Maybe she knows it is going to happen
Farmer will be unhappy too but it has to be done
Standing silent and relaxed

Daily Picture Prompt 15 – Santa in a Boat  – Pantoum Poetry

Write a poem or story using this picture. Link back to the post above from your blog.

Jolly Father Christmas
Sailing in a boat
Have times changed that much
Santa does not need reindeer’s

Sailing in a boat
Is Santa fishing for presents
Santa does not need reindeer’s now
Maybe Santa’s got lost

Is Santa fishing for presents
No toys in the water
Maybe Santa’s got lost
Where’s his life jacket

No toys in the water
Snow or reindeer’s
Where’s his life jacket
He may drown at sea

Snow or reindeer’s
Have times changed that much
He may drown at sea
Jolly Father Christmas
