Take the two words “autumn & winter” and write a Tanka Poem.

English tanka poetry consists of five units, usually with the following pattern of    5-7-5-7-7 which is syllables.

    • Oh, that not good, what did your car break down?
      But it’s nice that the weekly tanka challenge gave you something to think about, sometimes those minutes seem like hours when you have a problem.

      • Yep. In a supermarket car park, which was pretty civilised. The car and I are hoping for a worn out battery, it’s on borrowed time and a large expense will see us parting company.
        The great thing about being a writer is that unexpected windows of time are like a little gift 😀
