Simple Guidelines.

Take the two words “crystal & clear” and write a Tanka Poem.

What is a syllable?

  1. a unit of pronunciation having one vowel sound, with or without surrounding consonants, forming the whole or a part of a word; for example, there are two syllables in water and three in inferno.
  2. You can use the picture above or your own or no picture at all.

so clear in the summer sun

cleansing the dull mind

sunbeams cool and crystal clear

while watching the swirling pool
