I was invited by Basants to join her in “My Monthly Memories” for 2016.
Another month has passed by.
I have been dabbling in poetry.
The “Intro to Poetry” Blogging course got me interested in English Tanka Poetry, now it has taken over my website.
Tanka Poetry consists of five units, usually with the following pattern of – 5-7-5-7-7 which is syllables.
I still have a Weekly Tanka Challenge, have been doing it for eight weeks now, growing slowing, I’m reblogging all who write one, still hope to get in advertised in the WordPress challenges, will apply for it at the end of September.
I won’t give up on it yet, I think with time it will get more writers giving it a go.
Wrote a few fiction stories but not many I’m too wrapped up in writing Tanka Poems, it is my form of writing poetry I love doing it.
For the month of September I will be doing Carpe Diem prompts for Jane Reichhold’s Legacy in Tanka poems.
