Guidelines are simple.

I use a picture for my poetry as “Haiku Poetry” which is created by a vision, it must paint a mental image in the writer/reader’s mind,which is 5 syllables for the first line, 7 for the second, and 5 for the third.

Haiku Poetry

No rays to DAZZLE

A sheep stands on the hill crest

Clouds in the SKY.

Tanka Poetry

The vision for this Tanka Poetry is the same picture above as the Haiku Poetry using the words DAZZLE and SKY

Tanka Poetry consists of five units – 5-7-5-7-7 is syllables.

Summer days are glorious

Enjoy them winter will come.
