Would you like to join in Kathleen’s Writing Challenge for the Month of June 2016 – Challenges can be met by writing an article, a fictional story, poetry, or opinion piece. You can even share a photo that tells a story. There is no registration! All you need to do is follow her blog so you will get the prompts each day.
Day 1 – Share one piece of fatherly (or motherly) advice. It can be about anything!
What one piece of advice would you give your teenage self?
What would you tell a couple about to get married or have a baby?
What one piece of advice did someone give you that you’d like to pass on to others?
What one piece of advice would you give a new blogger? Share the wisdom!
Day 1 – One Piece of Advice
My one piece of advice is – What one piece of advice would you give a new blogger?
Never give up on writing, the more you write, the more your passion for it will grow with each post.
If you give in and move on to something else you will not become a writer, and writing is the best way to relax after a hard days work.
You never stop learning no matter what you think you know, there is always a lot more to learn, every day there is something new to be discovered and by writing you are discovering.
Writing will help you, if you feel grumpy, (like the dog above) why let your face fall down to ground level if you feel grumpy, lift it up everyday by writing, set a special time of the day and do it everyday at that time, best time is probably after you have put the children to bed, when you won’t be disturbed, it will also relax you for a peaceful night’s sleep.
So that’s my one piece of advice. – Never give up on writing, just sharing my wisdom.
Sharing my wisdom a little more.
I could tell you a whole lot of old wives tales that were told to me when I got married and had my first baby, but it doesn’t matter what I say, the best way is to learn by doing it yourself if you need help ask for it.
Maybe you will make mistakes but that part of life, learning, as long as you don’t keep on making the same mistakes.
