Six Sentence Stories – Marriage Contract

The wedding day was arriving fast and nothing had been done about the contract they were setting up between them for a future will.

They weren’t going to be like other couples sharing everything 50/50.

He was from another country with completely difference marriage vows.

She was not completely sure what her parents would say when they heard what they were planning to do about this marriage contract.

One thing she was sure of, not every marriage settle with paperwork like this before it actually happens.

Why was he so sure, that the answer was to have a written contract first, hoping that their different rules of life would work, it seemed to her that maybe this marriage was never meant to happen.
