You often hear words of wisdom, some are motivational and inspirational, others are just some ramblings that come to your mind, but still they will be climbing up the ladder of words, that will be there to stay, as our life passes us by, there will be someone else quoting them, they will never be forgotten.
There are many famous people that have spoken words and have been recorded in history, and handed down the family lines, over the centuries.
For instance, Ernest Hemingway, Albert Einstein, Martha Luther king and the list got on and on.
A few I remember
Don’t put off what you can do today, tomorrow may never come.
The longer the explanation, the bigger the lie.
Don’t judge others unless you have walked in there shoes.
The past is programming for the future, so live in the present as much as possible, regarding every new moment as a completely new experience – as it is.
Contentment is not the fulfillment of what you want, but the realization of how much you already have.
Live for the love.
Be loyal to the people in your life.
Do not abuse anything.
Listen more than you speak.
Don’t be so careful watching where you step to enjoy the path you are on.
Life is less like what is right and what is wrong and more about balance.
(For Example) – Eating food is not bad – eating too much food is unhealthy – BALANCE.
In this world, nothing can be said to be certain, except death.
When angry, count to ten before you speak – by the end of ten you won’t remember what you were going to say, that settles a disagreement before it overflows and ruins a happy partnership.
Nothing under the sun is accidental.
No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.
Wisdom is something that you learn, otherwise, someone else wisdom is only advice for you.
As each second passes, no amount of money will buy that second back.
We take many priceless gifts for granted. (Just look around it is everywhere only we fail to see it until it’s too late).
People want to feel cherished by someone and all the money doesn’t mean anything if you feel unloved or unwanted.
Money can’t buy that which is good such as love, honor, trust, self-respect.
Children can’t be bought, so all of the parents that think that materialistic things that you buy will make you a good parent, it doesn’t, quality time and real love buys your child forever.
Then there’s the inspirational words of wisdom, like Oscar Wilde’s, one I just can’t resist quoting,( “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken”), that one has been in my thought’s for many years, and by remembering it, it has got me through, many a hard time.
These are a few, there are many more I could add, but I will leave that to you.
Please add one in the comments.
